Virtual Learning Sessions on Developing Leaders in an Organization Using Proven Models

National HRD Network in association with Kwench is pleased to announce the upcoming Virtual Learning Session on "Developing Leaders from Within the Organisation Using Proven Models' on Friday, 23rd August 2013 at 1500hrs.

Session Insight

Leadership is not a style - it is a set of choices and actions that can be learned. To grow in a leadership role, one has to come out of his comfort zone and challenge himself in unexplored territories of work and life. The unexplored territories are what we call, the areas of risk, difficulty and discomfort. Leadership requires the ability to define clear vision that brings value to the workplace, the ability to provide direction, and the ability to create an atmosphere of energy, excitement and involvement.

This session is designed to challenge and assist everyone striving to improve leadership skills by clarifying both what these skills are and how to use them. It will help you understand the choices leaders make and the atmosphere they create, examining in depth seven qualities of effective leadership taking the metaphor from the life of an eagle.

Speaker:

Mr. Anand Pillai
Sr. Executive Vice President & Chief Learning Officer,
Reliance Industries Ltd.

The distance organizations need to travel from ‘Good’ to ‘Great’ depends a lot on their ability to deliver sustained business performance that creates a win-win for all key stakeholders.
